How To Copy Jennifer Lawrence's AMAZING Hairstyle From Last Night's Hunger Games Premiere

At last night's Hunger Games premiere, leading lady (and current Glamour cover girl) Jennifer Lawrence was looking appropriately smoldering--and her sexy, exotic updo had a lot to do with it. Wanna know what went into getting the look? We have the step-by-step details straight from her hairstylist! We've seen some elaborate braided updos in our day, but this one is just ... wow.

Perhaps not the world's easiest hairstyle to recreate at home, but those of you with a knack for braiding (and there are many of you among our blog readers!) can totally pull this off, I bet. Mark Townsend, the hair guru behind this look, suggests you follow the following four steps to copy Katniss'--uh I mean Jennifer's--hairstyle.

1. Apply a large dollop of mousse (he used Dove Style+Care Nourishing Curls Whipped Cream Mousse) to damp hair and blow dry with a large round brush.

2. Take 3-inch sections of hair and wrap around a 1-inch curling iron.

3. Mist Sally Hershberger Genius Spray Wax all over to give hair "second-day texture.

4. Take two headbands (these are by Jennifer Behr) and braid them into the hair, then pin the braid into a bun. "I always spray Dove Refresh+Care Invigorating Dry Shampoo on my bobby pins for extra hold," Mark says. "And I finished by spraying Dove Style+Care Extra Hold Hairspray all over to keep every hair in place all night."

Even if you didn't do this look full-on, you could try braiding a beautiful beaded headband into your hair in a simpler way, like just into a straight, simple braid--wouldn't that be pretty too?
